Job Description

Areeva Solutions is looking to hire a Full-time SharePoint Content Manager/Administrator to lead the management and maintenance of servers supporting SharePoint, ensuring seamless implementation of features & functionalities. Your expertise in the optimization of SharePoint environments, solving complex challenges, and enhancing user experiences will play a crucial role in automating processes and troubleshooting issues.  Please go to GrantSolutions (GS) to learn more about the grants’ lifecycle and the services provided by GS to 10+ cabinet-level federal agencies.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop, design, and implement knowledge management solutions in SharePoint.
  • Work closely with federal and contractor teams to retrieve various operational artifacts, identify/tag, and populate them to ensure ongoing maintenance of the portal for ease of document access.
  • Assign and manage folder and document-level permissions to ensure proper access protocols are implemented across the SP portal.
  • Assist with the migration of legacy documents into the new folder/filing structure.
  • Act as a liaison between federal and contractor teams, coordinating information flow and implementing business processes.
  • Troubleshoot issues promptly, managing the configuration and content of office SharePoint sites and document libraries.
  • Participate in activities to modernize and improve data/information processing, control, and provide real-time data access across the program, encompassing SharePoint, collaboration portals, file-sharing systems, and other platforms.
  • Oversee maintenance of SharePoint, customize sites for effective collaboration, and create custom workflows.
  • Ensure proper storage and population of documents/content across the SP portal as per the outlined organizational and divisional rules for document management.
  • Conduct training sessions to teach coworkers how to use SharePoint and any custom applications or workflows.
  • Maximize SharePoint capabilities to integrate information data sets, enhancing policies, documents, briefings, and other work products.
  • Collaborate closely with staff, managers, and leaders to strategically plan, develop, analyze, and prioritize capabilities in alignment with mission objectives.
  • Define business processes to evaluate impact, identify efficiencies, adjust priorities, and drive ongoing strategic knowledge management planning.
  • Consult with management to devise useful ways to apply SharePoint to federal customer’s goals.
  • Identify and escalate priority issues, ensuring responsible handling of confidential and sensitive company information.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management Information Systems, or a relevant domain.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on work experience managing and setting up SharePoint Portals and Knowledge Management across the portal.
  • Certification: Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert: SharePoint, Excel, and/or PowerPoint Certification; Certified as an Administrator on Microsoft SharePoint
  • Availability to work one to two days a week at the federal client office in Washington, DC.
  • Candidates must have resided in the United States for three consecutive years out of the last five years.
